Cookie showed in Orlando this week.  Place in her class at the National and then won her class at the Florida Speciality yesterday.  Mikayla due next Tuesday.  






06/12/2009 Tassajara Emmy moves to England
My dear Emmy moved to England with the breeder of her Mom Valerie Harvey the middle of May. They are both doing very well. Valerie is training and preparing Emmy to show in the big league of the best of the best in England. Good luck to both of you

Cookie, Glory and Sylvia had puppies
Aranel Cookie had 4 puppies 5/2/09. She was bred to Aranel Cosmic thanks to my dear Rick and Mark of Aranel Cavaliers for enabling that breeding to take place. Three days later Lymrey Magic Moments bred to Tassajara McDreamy had three puppies. Topping all of this off, on May 27th my wonderful Covington Glorious who was bred to Aranel Xtatic had 7 puppies. Thanks to my dear Heidi Mohn for giving me Glory. The puppies are all doing exceedingly well. Thanks to everyone for indulging me by reading this.


Tassajara puppies doing well
Tassajara Tony and Tassajara Nobel (Rivermoor Mary Rose X Aranel Xtatic) are wowing the show ring. Both have AKC majors while still puppies. Nobel received a Best Puppy in Show in the CKCSC at 8 months of age.


08/15/2008 Dirt still hitting “pay dirt”
Ch. Covington Paydirt is having a wonderful year. As of August 15th, he was still ranked 3rd in the nation in breed and 4th in group standings. All with little or no traveling and only two advertisements this year. Keep following Dirt on the show circuit. He is currently showing in Washington and coming back to CA the end of September.


07/19/2008 A.J. qualifies for POTY
Tassajara McDreamy (A.J.) bred by Heidi Mohn and Ellen Seidman qualified for Pup of the Year. He was the youngest exhibitor at the show at 5 months olf age. The competition is in August in Vancouver WA. Also competing is Aranel Del Mar (Ennis) who is now 15 months old. He qualified last August.


06/11/2008 Mikayla’s Litter
Mikayla had 7 puppies on June 10th. She had 4 girls and 3 boys. We are very proud of Oscar, Grammy, Golden Globe, Tony, Emmy Pulitzer and Noble. If you can’t tell they were named after awards.


04/18/2008 Covington Pay Dirt group1
April 18th, Ch. Covington Paydirt received his first group 1 placement. Heidi and I are both thrilled to pieces. Bruce and Tara are doing a bang-up job with him.


04/17/2008 Angus sires another litter
Aranel Extatic “Angus” had a second litter in early April. The breeder of the litter is Dena Fennel and the dam was Luxaar Cara Mia AKA “Mia”. Mom and four puppies (three tri colors and one blenheim are doing great!


03/31/2008 Angus wins first Major
Aranel Xtactic won his first AKC major this weekend under Paulet DeLong in Vellejo CA. “Angus” was shown expertly by Jamie.


03/24/2008 “Dirt” ranked #2 in nation
As of March 24th, Ch. Covington Paydirt is ranked #2 in the nation in the all breed AKC system. Not bad for a first year special that has never been advertised.


01/12/2008 Aranel Extactic sires first litter
I am proud to write that “Angus” has sired his first litter with Dam Covington Bling Bling who Heidi Mohn and I co-own. They had 5 puppies on January 12th the first one being born around 3:00 AM PST. Watch for more on these puppies as they grow up!
